
Feed Sales Representative – Equine

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Conduct up to 25 visits to farms or facilities each week to evaluate feeding programs and suggest solutions backed by Purina.
• Establish connections within the livestock and lifestyle animal sectors to exchange best practices and develop new business prospects.
• Enhance sales and market share by presenting innovative feed products and programs to both new and current clients.
• Take charge of and expand an existing client portfolio from day one.
• Cultivate and sustain robust relationships with dealer/co-op teams and Purina specialists.
• Acquire knowledge in Purina’s research, innovation, and sustainability efforts.
• Organize and facilitate educational events and on-site demonstrations.
• Work independently in a flexible, remote working environment.
• Plan and implement product strategies, marketing campaigns, and product launches.
• Engage in team meetings and training sessions to execute sales tactics.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science or a related discipline is highly preferred.
• Candidates who are nearing completion of their bachelor’s degree or possess proven sales and industry experience may also be considered.
• 3-5 years of relevant experience.
• A strong passion for livestock care and agricultural products.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Experience in customer service or sales support.
• Willingness to travel 5-10% overnight, along with daily travel within the assigned area.
