FedRAMP Site Reliability Engineer – CloudVision

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Become a member of Arista’s FedRAMP CloudVision-as-a-Service SRE team.

• Ensure the scalability, reliability, and stability of the global CloudVision service fleet.

• Lead, develop, and manage projects related to data platform architecture and performance, capacity planning, autoscaling, disaster recovery, observability, change management, CI/CD, service network architecture, cost optimizations, infrastructure, and cloud-first application security.

• Participate in the FedRAMP on-call rotation, which is divided between West and East Coast time zones.

• Develop, operate, and interact with databases directly on Kubernetes or via managed database solutions.

• Integrate with open-source software initiatives that support microservices, monitoring infrastructure, and other systems.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline, or equivalent hands-on experience.

• Over 5 years of experience in software engineering.

• U.S. Citizenship is mandatory.

• Experience in managing FedRAMP SaaS environments or other highly regulated systems is essential.

• Demonstrated experience in developing or overseeing deployments of distributed database systems or large-scale SaaS applications.

• Proficiency in Python, Go (Golang), or other programming languages is required.

• Strong scripting abilities in Bash or other scripting languages.

• Familiarity with GCP and GKE is preferred.
