This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• As an Inside Sales Representative for Civilian DHS accounts, you will be instrumental in acquiring customers, developing pipelines, and executing deals.
• Your responsibilities will encompass: Prospecting & Pipeline Development by sourcing new opportunities through inbound lead follow-up, outbound outreach (calls, emails, prospecting campaigns), and federal marketing efforts.
• You will research DHS accounts, pinpoint key decision-makers, and generate interest by aligning our solutions with their mission priorities.
• It will be essential to build and sustain a strong sales pipeline, managing leads and tracking activities in CRM (such as NetSuite or similar).
• Understanding the requirements, procurement processes, and acquisition cycles of Civilian customers will enable you to effectively position Paragon Micro’s hardware, software, and service solutions.
• You will conduct customized online demonstrations and presentations for Civilian prospects.
• Collaborating with Civilian Account Executives, you will develop pipeline strategies, advance opportunities, and close deals.
• Your role will also involve negotiating rates, confirming availability, and proactively managing order registrations and timelines with distribution partners.
• Achieving monthly and quarterly revenue goals will be a key objective, driven by consistent deal closures.
• You will cultivate and maintain trusted relationships with Civilian customers, vendor partners, and internal stakeholders.
• Serving as a liaison between Account Executives, customers, and channel partners will ensure smooth communication and solution delivery.
• You will track and maintain order details during and after the sale to guarantee customer satisfaction and compliance.
• Additionally, you may represent Paragon Micro at Civilian-related industry events and trade shows as required.
• A minimum of 5 years of demonstrated inside sales experience with a solid record of supporting Civilian customers; direct DHS support is advantageous.
• Familiarity with federal procurement cycles, contracting vehicles, and acquisition processes is essential.
• A strong phone presence is necessary, with the ability to foster quality customer engagements while managing a high volume of outreach.
• Experience with NetSuite or similar CRM systems and federal sales tools is required.
• Excellent communication skills are needed, with the ability to adapt messaging to both military and civilian stakeholders.
• Strong listening, presentation, and negotiation abilities are crucial.
• You must be able to multi-task, prioritize, and manage your time effectively in a dynamic federal sales environment.
• A proactive, resourceful, and adaptable mindset is essential—comfort in navigating ambiguity and aligning with Civilian mission priorities is important.
