Feature Engineer, AI-native

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of features from start to finish across the platform, encompassing economics, sales, ticketing, integrations, and more.

• Develop services in Python utilizing SQLAlchemy, GraphQL, and PostgreSQL while ensuring proper transactional behavior.

• Integrate with external systems including GDS, payment gateways, email, calls/SMS, and other services.

• Deliver the complete feature slice, including Angular frontend development when necessary.

• Collaborate daily with an AI agent for planning, executing tasks step-by-step, and verifying outcomes.

• Prioritize code quality over the sheer volume of lines produced.

• Interact with business stakeholders to grasp feature-related challenges, user needs, and desired outcomes.

• Expand responsibilities as the team and its scope grow.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong backend development experience in Python.

• Deep understanding of database transactions and data integrity.

• Proficiency with complex queries is essential.

• Practical, daily experience working with AI agents such as Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, or similar; this is required, not optional.

• Methodical approach to planning, executing tasks step-by-step, and verifying code.

• Genuine interest in the business context of coding and the ability to articulate the problems that features resolve and their beneficiaries.

• Openness and capability to work across the technology stack, including frontend development.

• Proficient in English at B2+ working level.
