This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Accountable for the acquisition, curation, and publication of data both on-premises and in the cloud for analytical or operational purposes.

• Guarantees that the data is in a ready-to-use format.

• Employs skills to convert business analytic requests and requirements.

• Engages with a variety of technologies including big data, relational, and non-relational databases.

• Provides consultation on data projects of moderate complexity.

• Adheres to code management and integrates with existing architectural and data governance standards.

• Generates data building blocks and data flows tailored to diverse client requests.

• Establishes methods for business users to access data.

• Applies techniques such as data mapping and transformation to meet business rules.

• Converts business data narratives into a structured technical breakdown.

• Designs and maintains moderately complex scalable data pipelines.

• Implements mid-sized projects and identifies chances to enhance data workflows.

⛳️ Requirements

• Responsible for acquiring, curating, and publishing data both on-premises and in the cloud for analytical or operational applications in basic to moderate scenarios.

• Ensures that the data is in a ready-to-use state, providing a single version of the truth for all data consumers, including business/technology users, reporting and visualization specialists, and data scientists with coaching and support.

• Translates business analytic requests and requirements into tasks for design, development, testing, deployment, and production maintenance.

• Works with a variety of technologies including big data, relational and non-relational databases, cloud environments, multiple programming languages, and various reporting tools, with familiarity in some areas while requiring training in others.

• Offers consultation on data projects of intermediate complexity, with limited coaching, to understand design requirements and existing business processes, leading the design, development, and implementation of data products.

• Produces data building blocks, data models, and data flows for diverse client requests such as dimensional data, standard and ad hoc reporting, data feeds, dashboard reporting, and data science research and exploration, with limited assistance.

• Creates access methods for business users to both structured and unstructured data.

• Utilizes techniques such as mapping data to a common data model, natural language processing, transforming data as required to satisfy business rules, applying AI, performing statistical computations, and validating data content.

• Translates business data narratives into a technical breakdown structure and provides work estimates for schedules or planned agile sprints.

• Develops and maintains moderately complex scalable data pipelines for both streaming and batch requirements, and builds new API integrations to accommodate increased data volume and complexity.

• Prepares and cleanses data to optimize it for downstream reporting using standard visualization or AI/ML tools with coaching and feedback.

• Applies a solid understanding of data governance concepts with limited practical experience.

• Executes mid-sized projects and larger tasks within established timelines.

• Develops data project plans and executes them under some supervision.
