This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Facilitates the uniformity of reservation policies and procedures across venues, where applicable.
• Attends and engages in BEO, Marketing, and Guest Services meetings as necessary.
• Proactively manages and processes reservations.
• Aids in handling incoming communications and addressing guest inquiries.
• Exhibits understanding of Tao Group Hospitality, its partners, and the supporting hotel environments.
• Implements techniques for cross-venue selling.
• Frequently participates in local outreach initiatives to broaden our guest base and establish lasting connections.
• Collaborates closely with the Sales teams to effectively allocate all private event bookings and enhance event performance in branded locations.
• Assists in the preparation and submission of expense reports.
• Aids in the creation of training binders for new hires.
• Manages the updating and distribution of menu changes to operations teams and marketing/beverage departments.
• Designs experiences and special reservations for the venues.
• Coordinates the movement of supplies between hotel-branded locations.
• Places supply orders and distributes supplies upon receipt.
• Collaborates with other executives and department heads for effective teamwork.
• Welcomes and assists both internal and external clients and guests.
• Prepares various forms, letters, schedules, lists, reports, and memos as directed.
• Creates and shares BEO details for events.
• Assists and/or completes additional tasks as assigned.
• A minimum of 2 years of prior experience in hospitality within a high-volume environment is preferred.
• High School Diploma or equivalent is required, with a focus on hospitality and/or an equivalent combination of education and experience in a related field.
• Proficient in Microsoft Windows Office, POS systems, Excel, Open Table, Resy, Tripleseat, and Sevenrooms.
