Facility Inpatient Coder

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Analyze medical records to accurately assign the appropriate ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS codes.

• Examine physician documentation and conduct audits to assess accuracy as required.

• Achieve and surpass established productivity and quality benchmarks.

• Review tasks and amend codes as necessary.

• Collaborate with the coding team to enhance coding results.

• Carry out various job-related responsibilities as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Associate degree in Health Information Management or a related field.

• A minimum of 3 years of professional specialty coding experience is required.

• Relevant coding credentials such as RHIA, RHIT, or CCS from AHIMA or AAPC.
