This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and enhance data solutions utilizing Microsoft Fabric, encompassing pipelines, dataflows, lakehouses, and warehouses.

• Create scalable and reusable data ingestion processes that integrate multiple data sources, including APIs, databases, and third-party systems.

• Construct and optimize data models that enhance data quality, consistency, and accessibility throughout the organization.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to comprehend business requirements and convert them into effective data solutions.

• Implement monitoring, validation, and alerting mechanisms to guarantee data reliability and trustworthiness.

• Provide high-quality, analytics-ready datasets for reporting tools like Power BI.

• Advocate and integrate DevOps best practices, including version control, CI/CD, and structured release methodologies.

• Work alongside engineering teams to ensure data solutions align with broader system architecture and integration efforts.

• Diagnose and resolve data issues, ensuring the high availability and precision of data assets.

• Contribute to best practices, documentation, and standards across the data platform.

• Identify opportunities for process automation and enhance efficiency through improved data utilization.

• Stay updated with Microsoft Fabric and cloud data technologies, introducing new ideas and enhancements.


⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in Data Engineering, Analytics Engineering, or a related field.

• Extensive experience in building and maintaining data pipelines across diverse data sources.

• Practical experience with Microsoft Fabric and/or Azure data technologies.

• Proficient SQL skills for data transformation, validation, and analysis.

• Experience using Python (or similar languages) for automation and data processing tasks.

• Familiarity with Git and version control practices in collaborative environments.

• Experience in supporting reporting and business intelligence through well-structured datasets.

• Strong understanding of contemporary cloud data engineering methodologies.

• Capability to construct reliable, scalable, and maintainable data pipelines.

• Excellent problem-solving skills coupled with a proactive and analytical approach.

• Ability to work closely with stakeholders and translate business needs into technical solutions.

• Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts clearly.

• Highly organized with the capacity to manage multiple priorities effectively.

• Collaborative attitude and the ability to work across cross-functional teams.

• Continuous improvement mindset focused on efficiency and quality.
