• Collaborate with graphics engineers, designers, artists, and fellow developers to synchronize rendering strategies with both creative and technical objectives.

• Prototype, evaluate, and enhance rendering systems within Unreal Engine 5.
• Investigate emerging trends and advancements in rendering technologies.
• Ensure visual consistency across scalability targets through meticulous workflows and integrated systems.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues related to rendering and performance.
• Work collaboratively on GPU budgets and content memory allocations, providing guidance to content creators.
• Create test environments and unit tests to assist artists in delivering optimized and high-performance content.
• Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to guarantee systemic alignment across various disciplines.
• Mentor and guide the art team on best practices and technical methodologies for world-building and rendering.
• Typically possesses 7+ years of experience in real-time graphics, rendering, or technical artistry.
• Strong grasp of GPU workflows (lighting, rendering, compute shaders), especially within Unreal Engine 5.
• Proven track record in developing shaders and materials that effectively balance performance with visual quality.
• Proficient in HLSL, GSL, or other shader programming languages.
• Experienced in developing tools or automation systems using C++ or Python.
• Familiar with node-based shading systems.
• Knowledgeable about DirectX 12 or comparable graphics APIs.
• Demonstrated experience in constructing scalable lighting, shading, and material pipelines.
• Experienced with profiling tools such as PIX, RenderDoc, Unreal Insights, or similar.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey technical concepts across various disciplines.
• Proactive in advancing shared objectives, mentoring colleagues, and contributing both independently and collaboratively.
• Possesses creative and strategic problem-solving skills that encourage innovation.
