This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Offer assistance to internal stakeholders regarding regulatory compliance requirements and issues related to consumer credit services.

• Conduct gap analyses of business unit or functional area procedural documents against Global Policies to ensure compliance and, if necessary, collaborate with the business line on action plans aimed at addressing control deficiencies and monitoring timely remediation of regulatory matters and process enhancements.

• Collaborate with diverse teams to ensure adherence to laws, regulations, and policies, including Legal, Information Security, and Governmental Affairs.

• Possess a working knowledge of relevant privacy and consumer laws and regulations.

• Maintain an understanding of the operating processes, strategies, products, and services of the business line.

• Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) during examinations by coordinating with the relevant business unit to gather and analyze examination data, documents, and other requested information to provide the necessary documentation.

• Collaborate with the Regulatory Exam Manager to fulfill ad hoc regulatory requests within designated service level agreements (SLAs).

• Assist as needed in the preparation and presentation of materials for regulatory meetings (kick-off decks, quarterly updates, etc.).

• Work effectively in a team environment, handling conflicts professionally and fostering productive relationships with customers, partners, and team members to achieve desired outcomes.

• Utilize persuasion and influence to engage, motivate, and inspire others.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience along with three years' experience in regulatory risk and compliance/audit processes.

• Familiarity with federal and state privacy laws and regulations, including FCRA, FACTA, and GLBA, ideally from the perspective of a consumer reporting agency (CRA).

• Ability to comprehend complex business challenges and develop practical, effective strategies for resolution.

• Comfortable working both autonomously and within team environments.

• Strong research, problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making abilities to effectively address complex issues while paying close attention to detail, along with the capacity to ask relevant questions and make connections.
