Experienced Spanish Interpreter – LATAM

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Latin America.

📋 Description

• Deliver precise, consecutive interpretation mainly in medical environments.

• Enhance communication in social services and financial scenarios.

• Start with Over-the-Phone Interpretation (OPI).

• Transition to Video Remote Interpretation (VRI) based on performance.

• Offer interpretation services as part of Kreato Global’s language solutions for the global healthcare industry.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 6 months to 1 year of professional experience in remote medical interpretation.

• At least C1 English fluency.

• Valid English certifications recognized from EF SET (4-Skill), TOEFL, or CAE.

• Documentation of medical interpreter knowledge issued within the past 12 months.

• Accepted medical interpretation certifications include ALTA Spanish fluency with a minimum score of 9, or LanguageStat (PICSI) with a passing score of 75–80%.

• Complete understanding of medical and customer service terminology.

• Must currently possess, or be willing to obtain, HIPAA and FWA (Fraud, Waste, and Abuse) certifications.

• Willingness to successfully undergo a standard background check via email.

• Hardwired Ethernet connection directly to the router; Wi-Fi is not permitted.

• High-quality, noise-canceling USB headset.

• Minimum Windows 10 operating system and 4GB RAM.

• Latest version of Google Chrome, Apple Safari, or Microsoft Edge.

• Dedicated, quiet, and fully HIPAA-compliant workspace.

• Proficiency in English and Spanish.
