Experienced Spanish Interpreter – LATAM

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Latin America.

📋 Description

• Provide precise, consecutive interpretation between English and Spanish, primarily within medical environments.

• Facilitate essential communication in social services as well as financial sectors.

• Initially concentrate on Over-the-Phone Interpretation (OPI).

• Advance into Video Remote Interpretation (VRI) depending on performance outcomes.

• Become a part of and contribute to Kreato Global’s remote interpretation team in Latin America.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 6 months to 1 year of professional experience in remote medical interpretation.

• At least C1 level fluency in English.

• Valid English certifications accepted include EF SET (4-Skill), TOEFL, or CAE.

• Documentation of medical interpreter knowledge obtained within the last 12 months.

• Accepted medical interpretation certifications comprise ALTA Spanish fluency with a minimum score of 9.

• LanguageStat (PICSI) passing score ranging from 75–80%.

• Complete understanding of medical and customer service terminology.

• Must currently possess, or be willing to acquire, HIPAA and FWA (Fraud, Waste, and Abuse) certifications.

• Willingness to undergo a standard background check conducted via email.

• Mandatory hardwired Ethernet connection directly to the router; Wi-Fi is not allowed.

• High-quality, noise-canceling USB headset required.

• Minimum requirements include Windows 10 OS and 4GB RAM.

• The latest version of Google Chrome, Apple Safari, or Microsoft Edge is necessary.

• A dedicated, quiet, and fully HIPAA-compliant workspace is essential.
