Experienced Paralegal – Business Immigration

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Building on previous knowledge of US Immigration Law through resources and training provided by the firm.

• Gaining a comprehensive understanding of the requirements and general case processing for various non-immigrant visa types, including H-1B, TN, B, and L visas.

• Drafting and organizing forms and documents as instructed by the Team Manager.

• Liaising with clients regarding visa instructions, approval notices, and welcome packages, in collaboration with attorneys and more experienced team members.

• Supporting legal and administrative teams in the request and organization of documents for new processes.

• Managing and organizing government correspondence, including receipt notices, approval notices, and requests for evidence.

• Accurately and consistently entering data into internal data management platforms.

• Contributing to other projects as assigned by the Team Manager or attorney.

• Bachelor’s degree with a solid academic record.

• 3-5 years of experience in business immigration law is required.

• Exceptional attention to detail.

• Strong analytical, critical, and quantitative thinking abilities.

• Excellent time management and organizational skills.

• Proven capability to use office software accurately and efficiently.

• Openness to adapt to and embrace advancements in office technology.

• Ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
