Experienced Medical Writer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +8 more states.

📋 Description

• Create and deliver high-quality scientific content for a dynamic and expanding global publications account.

• Offer clients a deep level of scientific knowledge on medical communications initiatives, particularly focusing on publications such as abstracts, posters, and manuscripts.

• Review and provide constructive feedback on the work produced by fellow medical writers.

• Maintain an in-depth understanding of client products and the broader therapeutic area.

• Ensure quality and consistency across various deliverables.

• Develop and nurture positive, long-term relationships with client teams and medical professionals.

• Foster collaborative partnerships within internal teams.

• Identify opportunities for enhancing a contemporary publications account and actively engage in generating innovative ideas.

⛳️ Requirements

• A strong academic foundation in life sciences.

• At least 3 years of experience as a medical writer supporting publications within a healthcare communications agency.

• Excellent storytelling skills - a creative thinker who enjoys converting complex scientific concepts into clear, precise, and engaging content.

• Strong editorial capabilities with exceptional attention to detail.

• Ability to communicate engagingly and confidently in verbal interactions.

• A passion for collaborating with colleagues and functioning as part of a team.

• Capability to remain composed under pressure, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet established deadlines.

• Confidence to make decisions and propel projects forward.
