Executive Director – Clinical Documentation Improvement

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Wisconsin.

📋 Description

• Supervise the strategic planning and implementation of the CDI Program

• Encourage thorough review of physician documentation

• Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams

• Deliver continuous education on the Clinical Documentation management program

• Develop and oversee departmental budgets

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Health Information Management or Nursing

• A minimum of 10 years in progressively responsible healthcare roles

• At least 5 years of leadership experience in CDI, nursing, or HIM

• Advanced clinical knowledge and a deep understanding of complex disease processes

• Proficiency in problem identification and solution recommendation

• Capability to interpret and implement guidelines and procedures
