Medical Writer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.

📋 Description

• Assume a leadership role in projects as necessary, taking full responsibility for the scientific and editorial aspects.

• Tasked with creating high-quality scientific documents that align with project specifications.

• Support the editing and proofreading of content created by colleagues, offering constructive feedback to facilitate their growth and development.

• The position will involve the evaluation and interpretation of data from preclinical and clinical research publications to inform the creation of scientific materials according to project briefs.

• Stay updated on medical advancements and perform literature searches to guarantee the provision of accurate medical information for assigned projects.

• Engage in client meetings and teleconferences, and attend scientific conferences as required.

• Analyze clinical trial data and convey its significance to the relevant physician and consumer audiences based on client specifications for assigned projects.

⛳️ Requirements

• Possess an advanced degree in life sciences, pharmacology, or medicine.

• Demonstrate exceptional written and verbal communication, along with strong interpersonal skills.

• Exhibit the ability to excel in a fast-paced environment, adhere to deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

• Strong financial, administrative, and organizational skills, with the capacity to multitask effectively.

• A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in medical communications.

• Attention to detail, the ability to prioritize tasks, and capability to work both collaboratively in a team and independently.

• Proficient computer skills, including knowledge of Internet searches and familiarity with Microsoft Windows applications such as Word, Excel (capable of maintaining complex spreadsheets), and PowerPoint.

• Willingness to travel as required, including weekends.
