This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee the comprehensive operational and financial management of the Onterris global Consulting segment.
• Assume complete P&L responsibility for the Consulting Division, focusing on revenue growth, EBITDA, margin enhancement, working capital, and cash flow.
• Achieve consistent and profitable growth that aligns with enterprise performance objectives.
• Enhance segment profitability and drive operating leverage through meticulous cost and margin management.
• Collaborate with the COO and Finance Leader to lead annual operating plans, long-term forecasts, and capital prioritization efforts.
• Improve forecasting accuracy, financial transparency, and accountability for performance across various geographies.
• Guide the operational and cultural integration of acquired companies into the Consulting division.
• Achieve synergies from acquisitions, encompassing cost alignment, leadership integration, systems consolidation, and accelerating cross-selling opportunities.
• Standardize project delivery methodologies, pricing governance, margin expectations, and performance management practices for both legacy and newly acquired enterprises in collaboration with the COO.
• Develop and implement standardized global project management frameworks and financial controls.
• Enhance chargeability, backlog visibility, pricing discipline, and project-level profitability.
• Ensure consistent methods for measuring margins across various service lines and regions.
• Collaborate with corporate leaders to meet segment goals.
• Function effectively within Onterris’ shared services and matrixed organizational structure.
• Cultivate strong executive-level client relationships and manage strategic accounts.
• Foster organic growth through diligent market prioritization and integrated portfolio offerings.
• Build and nurture a high-performing global Consulting leadership team.
• Set clear accountability standards and performance expectations across different regions.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, geology, environmental science, or related disciplines.
• Over 20 years of leadership experience in environmental consulting or engineering services.
• Proven track record of leading a business with revenues exceeding $500M across multiple geographies, including international exposure.
• Demonstrated P&L stewardship with quantifiable EBITDA growth and margin improvement.
• Experience in integrating acquisitions into scalable operational frameworks.
• Strong understanding of project-based business economics and margin governance.
• Background in operating within a publicly traded or similarly governed organization.
• Proven ability to lead effectively within a matrixed environment, alongside corporate shared-service functions.
• Exceptional executive presence and communication skills.
• Skilled in talent development with experience managing large, geographically dispersed teams.
• High levels of integrity and a steadfast commitment to safety.
