This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Develop and implement proactive strategies for sourcing executive talent by identifying target companies, talent pools, and diverse leadership communities.
• Engage and nurture long-term relationships with passive executive talent through tailored outreach, networking, and thought-leadership activities.
• Create and sustain comprehensive candidate pipelines for ongoing recruitment and succession planning efforts.
• Perform in-depth market research and competitive analysis regarding talent availability, compensation benchmarks, and organizational structures of competitors.
• Collaborate with recruiters and hiring leaders in a consultative capacity, fine-tuning strategies and presenting qualified, diverse candidate slates.
• Build future candidate pipelines and talent maps, optimizing the mix of job advertising strategies.
• Compile market and industry data to aid in compensation negotiations and strategic recruiting practices.
• Establish and maintain relationships with recruitment agencies, educational institutions, professional associations, and industry networks.
• Ensure adherence to labor laws, regulations, industry standards, equal employment opportunity, diversity, and labor relations requirements.
• Act as a brand ambassador for Bristol Myers Squibb, fostering trusted relationships with senior leaders and candidates.
• Deliver exceptional experiences for candidates and stakeholders while upholding compliant recruiting and hiring practices.
• Engage in industry forums to enhance BMS’s employer reputation and provide insights for organizational improvement.
• Collaborate with Total Rewards, Global Mobility, Legal, Immigration, and Procurement teams on the development, negotiation, and execution of executive offers.
• Work with non-executive recruiting teams to promote transparency, talent sharing, and consistency across sourcing and recruitment efforts.
• 5–7 years of experience in recruiting.
• A minimum of 3 years of sourcing experience focused on proactively generating candidates for senior-level roles.
• Strong preference for experience in a pharmaceutical or biotech environment.
• Ability to synthesize ad hoc market intelligence data to inform business strategy.
• Expert-level knowledge of candidate attraction and relationship management.
• Proven capability to build and maintain strong candidate pipelines.
• Extensive knowledge of the full life-cycle recruiting process, including sourcing, screening, and networking.
• Experience managing stakeholders at all levels within a complex, matrixed organization.
• Skill in collaborating across cross-functional and cross-organizational teams.
• Ability to partner effectively with Centers of Expertise and People Services colleagues.
• Capacity to develop meaningful and trusted relationships throughout all organizational levels.
• Strong understanding of technology and experience using talent acquisition systems, such as Applicant Tracking Systems, Candidate Relationship Management systems, social media, and predictive tools.
• Proficient in communicating ideas effectively and influencing others.
• Capability to partner, manage, and influence virtually.
• Experience working with outsourced providers and contractors, if necessary.
• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• Strong consulting skills, impact and influence capabilities, and stakeholder management expertise.
