This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Act as a trusted advisor to Chief Procurement Officers (CPOs) from Global 1000 companies and government entities.
• Collaborate with clients to pinpoint mission-critical priorities and key initiatives.
• Oversee a portfolio of senior executive client relationships.
• Engage in all stages of the client lifecycle: pre-sales, onboarding, relationship management, delivery, review, and renewal.
• Aid in client retention and drive growth in the product/region by directly supporting Gartner Sales.
• Assist in research activities, encouraging client involvement in research studies or case panels.
• Design and implement innovative solutions by evaluating client needs.
• Work with clients to enhance their levels of procurement maturity.
• Evaluate client strategies and assist in formulating Procurement strategies.
• Bachelor’s degree required (Master’s preferred).
• Over 10 years of experience in a senior management position, such as a CPO, typically at the SVP or EVP level, or over 5 years in another Procurement Executive role.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills.
• Capability to engage with C-level executives.
• Strong emotional intelligence (EQ) and reflective listening abilities.
• Comprehensive understanding of the Procurement industry and the responsibilities of the CPO.
• Proficient in critical thinking and problem-solving.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong facilitation and presentation capabilities.
• Dynamic and sales-oriented.
• Experience in sales and/or business development with CXO level executives.
• Strong time and project management skills.
