Executive Partner – CIO Advisory, Education Clients

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Oversee a member portfolio and deliver executive advisory services to 25-30 members in the Higher Education and/or K-12 sectors.

• Establish strong partnerships with the Gartner Team to enhance member engagement, retention, and growth.

• Engage in all stages of the member lifecycle, including client onboarding, relationship management, engagement, outcome-driven service delivery, account evaluations, and growth initiatives.

• Accountable for member retention and driving growth through effective engagement strategies.

• Assist clients in implementing innovative solutions by evaluating mission-critical priorities.

• Conduct both virtual and onsite strategic consultations and workshops.

• Promote member interaction and peer collaboration using Executive Programs resources and tools.

• Present or facilitate at Gartner events when applicable.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree (Master's or Doctorate preferred).

• Over 15 years of experience in a CIO or senior IT leadership role within Higher Education and/or K-12.

• Proven experience in executive-level positions, or in Consulting/Advisory roles directly supporting executives in Higher Education and/or K-12.

• Accomplished CIO (or similar) with extensive business acumen.

• Strong understanding of the IT industry and the role of the CIO in education.

• Familiarity with ERP transformation, operational AI, Learning Management Systems, academic technologies, and student lifecycle CRM.

• Comprehensive understanding of the Business Value of IT and how to align business and IT strategies.

• Proven track record of effectively communicating the Business Value of IT.

• Demonstrated awareness of the pace of change in the IT and education sectors.

• Capability to evaluate necessary changes in educational organizations and lead IT solution delivery.

• Ability to collaborate effectively in a team-oriented environment.
