Executive Director – IT Operations

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Lead and guide a team of IT leaders accountable for enterprise infrastructure operations.

• Supervise the execution of intricate infrastructure projects, including network enhancements, capital initiatives, renovations, and technology modernization efforts.

• Formulate and execute operational strategies aimed at enhancing reliability, resilience, and service quality across various campuses.

• Administer infrastructure budgets, capital planning, vendor partnerships, and contract performance.

• Collaborate closely with campus IT, Facilities, Procurement, Finance, and executive leadership to synchronize large-scale projects.

• Establish operational metrics, promote continuous improvement, and ensure compliance with cybersecurity and regulatory requirements.

• Cultivate a cooperative, service-oriented culture that emphasizes innovation, accountability, and outstanding customer service.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or a related discipline (or a comparable combination of education and experience).

• At least eight years of progressively responsible leadership experience in IT operations, infrastructure, or network services.

• Proven experience in leading managers and cross-functional operational teams within a complex, multi-site IT setting.

• Demonstrated proficiency in:

• - Enterprise networking and infrastructure operations

• - Strategic planning and technology modernization

• - Budget creation and financial management

• - Vendor and contract oversight

• - Leading large-scale, cross-functional projects

• - Building collaborative relationships with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
