Executive Director – Enterprise Architecture

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Develop a multi-year enterprise architecture vision, strategy, and reference models for Fortrea, covering infrastructure, cloud, data, integration, cybersecurity, workplace, and applications.

• Convert business strategy into actionable technology roadmaps that facilitate operational excellence, enhance clinical development capabilities, and establish future-ready IT platforms.

• Create and sustain Fortrea’s enterprise architecture repository, principles, and guidelines.

• Take ownership of, publish, and uphold enterprise technology standards, approved patterns, and restricted components.

• Lead the Architecture Review Board (ARB) and act as Fortrea’s authoritative figure on architectural feasibility, compliance, integration, and alignment with enterprise strategy.

• Ensure all technology domains function cohesively to eliminate fragmentation and support scalable, integrated end-to-end solutions.

• Collaborate with Data & Integration Architecture, Cybersecurity, and Hosting teams to guarantee alignment of data flows, integration platforms, and cloud/hosting strategies with enterprise guidelines.

• Guide, develop, and mentor a high-performing global Enterprise Architecture team that encompasses enterprise, solution, domain, and security architecture competencies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in Enterprise Architecture or a related discipline.

• Demonstrated leadership and management experience in IT strategy and enterprise architecture.

• Comprehensive experience in applying enterprise architecture frameworks and methodologies, such as TOGAF.

• Proven history of successfully executing complex IT projects from conception to deployment within predetermined timelines and budgets.

• Experience in overseeing the architecture process with cross-functional IT teams.

• Background in organizational change management, innovation, and technological transformation.
