This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.
• Create and implement a thorough area business plan that aligns with the national commercial strategy, including territory prioritization, resource distribution, KOL engagement, and tracking of quarterly milestones.
• Achieve area net sales, market share, and patient start goals by leading, guiding, and empowering a team of Regional Business Directors along with their Regional Account Managers.
• Evaluate area performance metrics and field intelligence to uncover trends, opportunities, and risks; proactively adjust strategies to enhance commercial effectiveness.
• Act as a senior commercial strategist during pre-launch and launch phases; spearhead area-level market shaping, KOL development, and initiatives to raise disease state awareness.
• Recognize area-specific market access obstacles, competitive environments, and adoption challenges; escalate actionable insights to the VP of Sales and commercial operations.
• Cultivate in-depth knowledge of peanut allergy epidemiology, EPIT mechanism of action, clinical trial data (EPITOPE, VITESSE), and the competitive landscape to inform strategy and mentor the field team.
• Collaborate closely with Medical Science Liaisons (MSLs), Market Access Corporate Account Directors, Marketing, and Patient Services to provide a cohesive, customer-focused approach throughout the area.
• Meet or surpass quarterly and annual area sales targets while adhering to all compliance and regulatory standards.
• A Bachelor's degree (B.S. or B.A.) from an accredited four-year college or university; a background in life sciences, business, or a healthcare-related field is preferred.
• A minimum of 10+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical commercial sector; experience in allergy/immunology, rare diseases, or pediatric specialties is preferred.
• At least 5 years of progressive experience in field sales management.
• Proven history of leading complex field organizations through specialty or biologic product launches.
• Strong business acumen: capable of interpreting area-level sales analytics, formulating data-driven business plans, and managing resource allocation effectively.
• In-depth understanding of specialty pharmacy, biologics access, prior authorization, and hub/patient services models.
• Experience in establishing commercial infrastructure within a start-up or early-stage biopharmaceutical setting is preferred.
• Proficiency with CRM platforms (Veeva preferred) and standard business tools (Microsoft Office, iPad/tablet-based platforms).
• A valid driver's license; willingness to travel within the area up to 50% of the time, including overnight travel as needed.
