This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Minnesota.
• Act as a reliable thought partner and operational extension for the Chief Medical Officer.
• Anticipate priorities, risks, and opportunities across strategy, clinical, medical affairs, and regulatory initiatives.
• Oversee the CMO’s intricate global calendar and enhance executive priorities.
• Resolve scheduling conflicts, organize engagements, and ensure preparedness for decision-making forums.
• Manage requests and communications effectively.
• Organize Structural Heart leadership meetings, operating reviews, and governance forums.
• Create briefing materials, executive summaries, and decision documents.
• Monitor strategic initiatives, action items, and cross-functional commitments.
• Assist with administrative and operational elements of clinical development and medical affairs activities.
• Coordinate materials for advisory boards, investigator meetings, regulatory interactions, and audits.
• Ensure oversight of confidential clinical, medical, and regulatory documents.
• Facilitate communication between the CMO and global Clinical Development, Medical Affairs, Regulatory Affairs, R&D/Engineering, Quality & Compliance, and Commercial/Market Access teams.
• Draft, edit, and manage executive communications, presentations, and internal updates.
• Handle sensitive communications with discretion.
• Manage complex global travel logistics and international itineraries.
• Supervise expense management and adherence to administrative compliance.
• Anticipate and address logistical challenges.
• Manage sensitive information related to clinical, physician relationships, and regulatory strategies while ensuring confidentiality and compliance.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• At least 6 years of experience supporting senior executives, including ELT, OLT, CMO, Chief Scientific Officer, or R&D executive leadership.
• Experience in a large, complex medical device, biotech, or pharmaceutical organization.
• 8–10 years of experience in cardiovascular, interventional cardiology, or Structural Heart preferred.
• Knowledge of Structural Heart therapies, including TAVR, TMVR, and transcatheter repair/replacement technologies.
• Experience in supporting clinical trials, medical affairs, or regulatory interactions.
• Familiarity with global product lifecycle management in MedTech.
• Executive presence when interacting at Board and ELT levels.
• Exceptional judgment and organizational agility at the executive level.
• Strong business and clinical insight with the ability to synthesize complex information.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Capable of operating independently in a fast-paced, matrixed, global environment.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft 365 and executive collaboration tools.
• Must have unrestricted U.S. work authorization at the time of hire and for the duration of employment; sponsorship is not available for roles below Principal level.
