Exam Question Reviewer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assess batches of exam questions provided by the Kaplan Content Specialist.

• Analyze questions using a provided checklist to ensure they appropriately reflect the style, content, and difficulty level of the official exam.

• When necessary, implement revisions and enhancements to questions to improve their quality and relevance to the exam.

• Submit annotated Google Documents for each batch, meticulously tracking all modifications using the Track Changes feature in Google Docs.

• Ensure that all content is accurate, free from errors, and up-to-date with the latest specifications of the National Counselor Examination.

• Comply with Kaplan's requested style guide in all revisions and submissions.

• Engage in Kaplan's standard content review cycle, addressing feedback regarding clarity, accuracy, formatting, and presentation.

• Rephrase and adjust content to ensure it aligns with test-like characteristics.

• Respond to all review inquiries within 2 business days, or sooner if requested.

• Follow established timelines for each batch of questions, as outlined by the Content Specialist.

⛳️ Requirements

• Current LPC or LMHC or a higher credential in the relevant field.

• Proven in-depth understanding of official exam content, professional domain knowledge, and the exam format.

• Exceptional attention to detail and a strong commitment to accuracy.

• Outstanding written communication and editing capabilities.

• Proficient in utilizing Google Docs and Google Drive.

• Capacity to meet deadlines and effectively manage workload in a remote setting.

• Reliable internet access and dependable communication methods.

• Previous experience in instructional content development, especially related to the relevant exam.

• Prior teaching or tutoring experience in the relevant subject area.

• Understanding of effective test question design principles.
