This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North America.
• Manage Altitude's comprehensive global event calendar encompassing three categories: sponsored, owned, and attended.
• Evaluate which events merit our investment, which require our time, and which we should host ourselves.
• Establish the guidelines for each type of event: sponsorship, side event, dinner, and panel.
• Assess the events in our pipeline and revenue, focusing on the metrics that truly matter.
• Identify events with a high concentration of Ideal Customer Profile (ICP) participants globally in the sectors of crypto, fintech, payments, and treasury.
• Negotiate sponsorships effectively, using the rate card as a baseline.
• Create an eye-catching booth and brand presence that leaves a lasting impression on attendees.
• Develop a strategy for pre-event, on-site, and post-event efforts that convert attendees into potential leads.
• Organize CFO dinners, founder roundtables, and exclusive gatherings that foster genuine relationships.
• Secure the ideal venues in key cities: NYC, SF, Singapore, London, and Dubai.
• Curate guest lists that entice individuals to attend and foster a desire to be invited again.
• Elevate Altitude's reputation as a respected host, creating events that people prioritize attending.
• Collaborate with sales to determine which events justify having representatives on-site.
• Oversee travel arrangements, briefings, and meeting materials to ensure the team arrives well-prepared.
• Develop a process that transforms conference interactions into finalized deals.
• Manage logistics from start to finish: vendors, contracts, venues, promotional items, and event schedules.
• Work alongside GTM Engineering on lead capture, CRM processes, and attribution methods.
• Collaborate with Marketing on event positioning, materials, and messaging strategies.
• Minimum of 4 years experience in event marketing or field marketing within a high-growth B2B startup.
• Proven track record of organizing events that generated substantial pipeline, with quantifiable results.
• Experience managing both large sponsorships and smaller, more intimate events.
• Exceptional writing skills are essential, this is non-negotiable.
• Comfortable navigating the fintech and crypto sectors, or eager to learn rapidly.
• Proficient in AI technologies.
• Open to frequent travel, as this role requires being on the move.
