This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Lead the strategy and execution of event marketing, including audience targeting, multi-channel campaigns (email, social, partnerships, content), registration initiatives, and post-event follow-up.
• Act as the primary contact for confirmed speakers at Ahrefs Evolve — from the initial booking by the influencer team through to post-event follow-up. Speakers should have a clear point of contact: you will manage the relationship, briefing, and overall experience. You will communicate logistics requirements to the Event Operations Manager, ensuring speakers interact with just one person throughout.
• Oversee the creative direction for Evolve, our global annual conference — this includes fabrication, booth design, and the overall brand experience, collaborating closely with designers across Europe and Asia.
• Manage the design and creative aspects of sponsorship booths for European field events and regional activations.
• Direct the creative vision for swag: concept, design standards, and brand alignment — working in coordination with the Event Operations Manager, who handles vendor management and fulfillment.
• Collaborate with the Global Head of Events and Global Partnerships & Revenue Manager on Evolve strategies and sponsorship activation planning.
• Manage timelines and maintain relationships with creative vendors across multiple concurrent projects.
• Foster and maintain relationships with regional communities, partners, and event venues throughout Europe.
• Provide creative support for select events in Singapore and the US, ensuring consistency across all markets.
• Monitor and report on event performance metrics including attendance, engagement, brand impact, and ROI.
• You have experience running B2B field marketing programs or managing event portfolios that include both large-scale and grassroots activations.
• You possess strong event marketing skills and solid creative instincts — you understand audience segmentation, campaign mechanics, and how to create experiences that drive registration and engagement.
• You have experience managing fabrication, booth design, or brand experiences at events — you know how to brief designers, uphold vendor standards, and translate a brand into a physical space.
• You recognize where your responsibilities end and your operational partner's begin — you deliver a complete, approved brief and trust the execution process.
• You are highly organized, with a keen attention to detail and the capability to manage multiple projects simultaneously without sacrificing quality.
• You are comfortable working independently in a remote, distributed team — you make informed decisions within your scope and escalate issues that affect budget, scope, or brand.
• You possess excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• You are based in the UK or Europe and are open to occasional travel within the region, as well as to the US and Singapore.
