This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +1 more state.
• Take charge of the complete logistics for Crux’s participation in over 50 events each year, encompassing booth design and production, vendor coordination, shipping, and team attendance.
• Oversee all registrations, speaking submissions, and related deadlines to enhance visibility and engagement.
• Implement pre- and post-event processes for scheduling meetings, capturing leads, follow-ups, and tracking ROI.
• Aid in the planning and execution of Crux-branded experiences, ranging from intimate executive dinners to large-scale, multi-day events.
• Manage venue selection, vendor logistics, and on-site execution in collaboration with the Director of Events.
• Ensure that all experiences are consistent with Crux’s brand voice and uphold high aesthetic standards.
• Facilitate collaboration with strategic partners to create co-hosted events that deliver joint value.
• Assist in maintaining and enhancing the event operations playbook.
• Monitor budgets, timelines, vendor contracts, and performance metrics across all events.
• 4-6 years of experience in events or experiential marketing within high-growth or B2B environments.
• Background in the finance or clean energy sectors, with an understanding of their stakeholders and event landscapes.
• Located in NYC or DC, with the ability to travel approximately 10% of the time.
• Experience in coordinating vendors across various event components (AV, catering, production, etc.).
• Proven experience working cross-functionally with marketing and sales teams.
• Highly organized, capable of managing multiple events simultaneously while maintaining exceptional attention to detail and deadlines.
• Strong aesthetic judgment and design sensibility with a focus on brand presentation.
• Comfortable in supporting experiences that delight attendees and align with strategic objectives.
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment with evolving priorities.
• Proficient in tracking performance metrics and assisting with reporting.
• Experience in utilizing AI to streamline and enhance event planning processes.
• Base Compensation: Competitive base salary ranging from $125,000 to $145,000 based on leveling, excluding equity value or company-wide bonuses.
