Events Lead – APAC

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Singapore.

📋 Description

• Design and implement event strategies that align with business objectives to enhance attendance and engagement.

• Coordinate third-party conferences, proprietary branded events, and strategic meals (breakfasts/dinners/lunches) with key customers or prospective clients.

• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure the effective execution of events, which includes venue selection, vendor management, and logistics, overseeing the complete planning process from start to finish.

• Develop engaging event messaging and content that connects with target audiences and encourages participation and attendance.

• Oversee event budgets and timelines, ensuring that all deliverables are met punctually and within financial limits.

• Evaluate event performance metrics and offer suggestions for future enhancements and optimizations.

• Follow up with event participants in partnership with the sales and growth teams.

• Cultivate and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including sponsors, partners, and vendors.

• Remain informed about industry trends and best practices, integrating them into event marketing strategies to maintain a competitive edge.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in events, with at least 3 years specifically focused on event or marketing event planning within a fast-paced technology organization.

• Proven experience collaborating cross-functionally with sales, marketing, product development, and communications to deliver exceptional events.

• Strong budget and time management abilities, especially under tight deadlines.

• Experience collaborating with event agencies and production partners, and possess a network of reputable agency contacts in the region.

• Adaptable with a keen eye for detail.

• Confident in articulating ideas and viewpoints thoughtfully and passionately.

• Open and willing to challenge assumptions, ask questions, or identify obstacles.

• Excellent organizational skills and a proactive approach to getting tasks accomplished.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to foster and maintain relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

• Fluency in English is required, and proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
