This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.
• Develop and implement communication strategies for ecosystem events (such as Climate Drinks, Mosambi Climate Conference, Delhi Climate Innovation Week, etc.).
• Oversee communication across multiple platforms including social media, email campaigns, newsletters, WhatsApp, and event websites.
• Ensure that all communication deliverables are completed on time and in accordance with event schedules.
• Collaborate with internal teams (design, programs, partnerships) to produce effective communication outputs.
• Generate and manage content for social media, newsletters, websites, and outreach initiatives.
• Construct and translate program narratives into clear, engaging, and high-quality communication materials.
• Uphold consistency in messaging and tone across all channels.
• Work closely with program teams, partners, and speakers to gather the necessary input for communication materials.
• Actively follow up with stakeholders to ensure timely fulfillment of communication needs.
• Assist in outreach efforts to enhance registrations and engagement for events.
• Establish and maintain communication calendars that align with event schedules.
• Monitor the progress of deliverables and guarantee that deadlines are met without requiring repeated follow-ups.
• Evaluate campaign performance and propose enhancements for future initiatives.
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in marketing, communications, or event-related positions.
• Preferred experience in managing multi-channel campaigns and event communications.
• Strong execution skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Capability to handle multiple communication streams concurrently.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities.
• Strong skills in follow-up and stakeholder coordination.
• Ability to work autonomously and take responsibility for deliverables.
• Comfort in fast-paced settings with tight deadlines.
• Interest in climate technology and ecosystem-building (previous experience is a plus).
• Nice to have experience with startups, ecosystems, or events.
• Familiarity with tools such as Notion, Airtable, Mailchimp, or similar applications.
• Basic knowledge of digital marketing analytics.
