Event Operations Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Malaysia.

📋 Description

• Managing the operational facets of event organization and execution, ensuring events are conducted efficiently, within budget, and uphold the highest quality standards.

• Partnering with the Regional Manager to create and execute operational strategies for events across Asia.

• Overseeing logistical components of events, including venue selection and management, setup, transportation, and accommodation.

• Identifying, negotiating, and maintaining relationships with vendors and suppliers to secure optimal arrangements for each event.

• Creating and managing event budgets, ensuring all expenditures are monitored and adhere to allocated funds.

• Recognizing potential risks and formulating contingency plans to address them.

• Collaborating with both internal and external stakeholders concerning event operations.

• Supervising the setup, execution, and dismantling of events, ensuring that all operational elements function seamlessly.

⛳️ Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related discipline.

• Experience: At least 3 years of experience in Event Operations Management.

• Skills: Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

• Demonstrated capability to manage large-scale events and intricate logistics.

• Financial literacy and experience in managing event budgets.

• Proficiency in event management software and the Microsoft Office Suite.

• Capability to perform under pressure and meet stringent deadlines.
