This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.
• Develop and oversee the global event marketing strategy for Global Knowledge, creating a prioritized annual event calendar that balances third-party, first-party, and digital events across various regions and audience segments.
• Assess and suggest event participation opportunities, including trade shows, industry conferences, partner-sponsored events, and speaking engagements, based on audience fit, competitive landscape, pipeline potential, and cost-effectiveness.
• Establish event objectives, target audience profiles, and success metrics for each type of event, ensuring that all event activities are connected to measurable pipeline and revenue outcomes.
• Collaborate with Regional Marketing Leaders to ensure that the global event calendar aligns with regional market priorities, seasonal demand trends, and local event opportunities pertinent to each geography.
• Partner with the Partner Marketing Manager to identify and integrate partner-sponsored or co-branded event opportunities into the annual calendar, including events eligible for MDF funding.
• Lead and manage Global Knowledge’s webinar and digital events program, acting as the primary administrator of the webinar platform and ensuring a consistent schedule of high-quality virtual events for key audiences and regions.
• Oversee all aspects of webinar production, including speaker preparation and enablement, slide review, platform setup, registration configuration, promotional coordination, live moderation, and post-event follow-up.
• Create comprehensive pre-event promotional plans for all event types in collaboration with Campaign Ops, ensuring that events receive multi-channel support to drive registrations, attendance, and meeting bookings.
• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in event marketing, field marketing, or a closely related field, with proven ownership of events across various formats including trade shows, customer events, and digital/webinar programs.
• Capability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder events from strategy through execution and post-event evaluation, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget constraints.
• Strong experience with managing webinar platforms such as Zoom Webinars, On24, BrightTALK, or Goldcast.
• Exceptional project management skills, able to handle multiple events concurrently across different geographies and formats while maintaining quality and meeting deadlines.
• Experience in developing and executing event promotion campaigns across email, social media, and paid channels, with an understanding of how outreach before and after events influences attendance and pipeline conversion.
• Proficiency with CRM and marketing automation platforms to manage registrant data, monitor lead flow, and report on event-generated pipeline; experience with Salesforce / Marketo or BAPS / Spotler is highly desirable.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong stakeholder management abilities to coordinate across Sales, Marketing, Product, and external speakers and vendors.
