Event Coordinator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Norway.

📋 Description

• Strategize and coordinate events that align with the NGO's mission and objectives.

• Create and oversee event budgets, ensuring adherence to financial limitations.

• Handle all logistical details of events, including registration and venue selection, among others.

• Collaborate with event vendors, sponsors, and partners to ensure all event components align with the organization's mission.

• Formulate and execute event marketing strategies to enhance event visibility and boost attendance in conjunction with our Marketing Team.

• Guarantee that all events meet local regulations and safety standards.

• Cultivate and sustain relationships with key stakeholders to ensure effective event planning and successful execution.

⛳️ Requirements

• Exceptional organizational and project management abilities.

• Proven experience in event planning or management.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Capability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.

• Keen attention to detail and the capacity to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

• Intercultural competence (effective and appropriate communication with individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds).

• Proficient spoken and written communication skills in English.
