EUC Engineer – 9 Month FTC

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Configure, deploy, and provide support for end-user devices such as laptops, desktops, printers, and handheld scanners.

• Develop and maintain a standardized catalogue of approved end-user computing (EUC) hardware.

• Collect and validate device requirements in collaboration with stakeholders across various sites.

• Offer insights on device standards, configurations, and deployment strategies.

• Assist with on-site setup, testing, go-live activities, and early life support, including necessary travel.

• Ensure that partner devices (e.g., SI and BI teams) are properly configured and secure.

• Troubleshoot issues during deployment to minimize disruption.

• Create clear documentation and facilitate handover to support teams.

• Work in conjunction with security, infrastructure, and D365 teams to ensure adherence to performance and compliance standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in end-user computing (EUC), desktop support, or IT deployment within enterprise settings.

• Proficient hands-on skills with Windows devices, printers, and scanning equipment.

• Familiarity with large-scale rollouts or transformation initiatives.

• Experience with device imaging and management tools such as Intune or Endpoint Manager.

• Capability to manage hardware standards and maintain documentation effectively.

• Strong problem-solving abilities and excellent communication skills.

• Willingness to travel internationally as required.

• Experience in global or multi-site IT environments is desirable.

• Knowledge of Intune, Autopilot, SCCM, or similar tools is advantageous.

• Background in handling devices in warehouse or retail contexts is a plus.

• Understanding of ITIL and early life support practices is preferred.

• Experience in supporting third-party or partner devices is desirable.
