EU Spanish Translator – Linguist, Full Time / Part Time – Gaming

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Portugal.

📋 Description

• Convert and/or modify text in accordance with project specifications and directives.

• Maintain high linguistic quality, consistency, and compliance with terminology and style guidelines.

• Collaborate with a larger team of translators and editors.

• Adhere to deadlines and productivity goals set forth by project management.

• Revise and maintain relevant documents such as style guides and glossaries.

⛳️ Requirements

• Native speaker of European Spanish with excellent proficiency in English.

• Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in localization.

• Demonstrated experience in localizing major video game intellectual properties.

• Willingness to complete a brief unpaid trial translation test as part of the hiring process.

• Familiarity with business software and CAT tools (e.g., Microsoft Office, memoQ, Plunet) is a plus.

• Must be able to work in Braga for a full-time onsite position.

• Candidates must reside within Portugal.
