Estimator Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Examine specifications and control schematics

• Request pricing from subcontractors and equipment vendors and follow up to secure written quotes

• Develop comprehensive scope letters and proposals

• Deliver clear documentation for estimates and proposals

• Generate precise estimates and proposals

• Collaborate with operations and engineering teams to offer solutions and pricing

• Assist in the selection of contractors

• Evaluate opportunities and aid in formulating bid strategies

• Support pricing services for clients as an Estimator Specialist/Inside Sales member on the Global Strategic Accounts Team

⛳️ Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED

• 3+ years of experience in Sales, Building Automation, HVAC, and/or Controls

• Valid Driver’s License

• Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Business, or a related field

• Ability to value engineer control designs with alternative solutions

• Experience in providing takeoffs of control schematics using software like Bluebeam

• Familiarity with sales tools and software, including CRM and estimating software such as Bid Tracer

• Background in the Data Center Market

• Capability to resolve moderate to complex financial and accounting issues

• Excellent written and oral communication, analytical, organizational, and time management skills

• Ability to cultivate strong relationships with customers and colleagues

• Self-driven with a commitment to continuous improvement

• Competence to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment

• Knowledge of clearly presenting ideas and strategies to diverse audiences, leadership, and decision-makers
