This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Create bid hour and bid sheets for projects involving substations and transmission lines.

• Contact suppliers to obtain and verify pricing details.

• Prepare comprehensive take-offs and staking sheets to ensure accurate project estimates.

• Examine bid documents to guarantee a thorough understanding and precision.

• Conduct site visits as necessary to gather pertinent information and evaluate project needs.

• Gather and analyze historical cost data to improve estimates for current and future projects.

• Formulate estimates to assist management in project planning, organization, and scheduling.

• Analyze blueprints and other documentation to deliver precise time, cost, material, and labor estimates.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.

• Over 2 years of experience in utility construction estimating, specifically for transmission lines or substations.

• Familiarity with EPC estimating.

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications as well as construction estimating software.

• B2W experience is preferred but not mandatory.

• Capability to draft reports and business correspondence effectively.

• Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
