Estimator, Aluminium Cladding

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Evaluate Plans: Carefully examine architectural drawings, specifications, and engineering documents.

• Measure Materials: Perform precise take-offs for aluminium cladding and framing elements.

• Estimate Costs: Calculate expenses related to labor, materials, fabrication, transport, and installation.

• Solicit Quotes: Source and negotiate competitive rates from suppliers and subcontractors.

• Analyze Risk: Identify potential complexities in projects, structural issues, and cost fluctuations.

• Collaborate Daily: Work closely with Australian project managers to ensure budgets and timelines are aligned.

• Prepare Tenders: Assemble comprehensive, compliant cost proposals for submission to clients.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience: 2 to 4 years of focused estimating experience specifically in aluminium cladding systems.

• Software Proficiency: Skilled in Bluebeam, CostX, PlanSwift, or Excel estimation models.

• Regulatory Acumen: Strong understanding of the Australian National Construction Code (NCC).

• Technical Expertise: Demonstrated experience with facade material systems, structural allowances, and waste calculation.

• Communication Skills: Exceptional written and verbal English abilities for effective collaboration with Australian clients.

• Portfolio Required: Documented experience, as shown through a portfolio or similar evidence of previous successful bid projects, is mandatory.
