ESL Teacher, Part-Time – Adult Learners

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +7 more states.

📋 Description

• Instruct English to adult professionals in engaging small group settings utilizing immersive technology.

• Conduct structured English communicative lessons for adult learners.

• Assist learners in navigating real-world situations such as meetings, travel, or professional dialogue.

• Offer constructive feedback on pronunciation, grammar, and fluency.

• Maintain proactive communication with the instructional team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in TESOL, Applied Linguistics, or a related field OR a Bachelor’s degree along with an English teaching certification (120-hour TESOL certificate/CELTA or equivalent) and substantial teaching experience.

• A minimum of 2 years of structured ESL teaching experience.

• Experience working with adult learners.

• Strong background in communicative or task-based language teaching methodologies.

• Proven ability to intentionally develop speaking and listening skills.

• Required English proficiency at C1 level (CEFR) or Advanced High (ACTFL) equivalent or higher.

• Comfortable with technology and eager to learn new platforms.

• Organized, dependable, and professional.
