Equipment Operator, Offshore Ships/Cable Laying Vessel

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Indonesia.

📋 Description

• Operate cable engines

• Linear cable machines

• Turntables

• Tensioners

• Winches

• Associated deck equipment

• Monitor cable tension

• Speed

• Alignment during laying

• Burial

• Recovery operations

• Assist with loading

• Splicing

• Testing

• Maintenance of subsea cables

• Perform routine inspections

• Basic troubleshooting

• Preventive maintenance of equipment

• Ensure cable operations are conducted accurately and safely

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience on Cable Layers / Pipe / MPSV / DSV vessels

• At least 1 to 1.5 years of experience in Carousel operation

• Requires technical skills

• Strong safety awareness

• Good communication skills and proficiency in the English language

• Holder of valid STCW certifications necessary for the role

• Experience in a multicultural working environment
