Epicor Kinetic Financials Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Act as the principal functional subject matter expert in Epicor Kinetic finance for the program.

• Oversee the design of the finance workstream encompassing General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Cash Management, and financial reporting.

• Spearhead the development of the chart of accounts structure, multi-company configuration, intercompany processes, and consolidation strategies for decision-making and approval.

• Facilitate cross-functional requirements gathering sessions involving Finance, Manufacturing, Operations, Supply Chain, and Sales, aligning those needs with standard Epicor capabilities.

• Collaborate directly with the internal ERP team and external implementation partner, ensuring accountability to the agreed-upon design.

• Verify data migration for finance master data and balances, including the reconciliation of converted data.

• Construct and execute finance testing scenarios through CRP and UAT, driving defect resolution to completion.

• Create and deliver training for end-users within the finance organization, and provide support during hypercare phases leading up to go-live and stabilization.

• Offer ongoing functional leadership in Epicor post-go-live, fulfilling business process owner responsibilities as necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of experience in ERP functional consulting or ERP finance leadership.

• Hands-on experience with Epicor Kinetic financials through at least one complete lifecycle implementation, from requirements gathering to go-live and stabilization.

• Experience in multi-company and multi-site Epicor environments, including managing intercompany transactions and consolidation.

• Proven track record of owning the design of a chart of accounts, including segment structure and governance across various entities.

• Extensive functional knowledge of Epicor General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and financial reporting.

• Familiarity with the integration of Epicor finance with manufacturing and supply chain processes, including inventory, WIP, and job costing, along with the capability to reconcile those subledgers to the General Ledger.

• Demonstrated experience in conducting requirements workshops with senior finance stakeholders and driving decisions to resolution.

• Strong grounding in accounting principles, including month-end closing, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation.

• Experience collaborating with a third-party implementation partner while ensuring adherence to the design.
