This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +9 more states.
• Accountable for conducting analysis and design of Epic application systems, encompassing requirements, specifications, configuration, documentation, testing, and system implementation.
• Engages in providing support for Epic applications, including troubleshooting, training, and reporting activities.
• May also assist with support and troubleshooting for non-Epic applications integrated with third-party systems.
• Acts as a liaison among TSG groups, clients, and vendors.
• Performs comprehensive analysis of Epic application design, including planning implementations and maximizing the benefits of the applications.
• Guides teammates in issue resolution, tracking problems, and providing updates to peers, leadership, and clients.
• Oversees assigned projects and ensures deadlines are met.
• Conducts highly complex tasks independently, exercising significant discretion in judgment.
• Complies with departmental policies and procedures.
• Organizes and conducts requirements gathering for Epic projects and requests.
• Coordinates, plans, and leads detailed design sessions based on client/business needs and application functionality.
• Creates reference materials (status reports, documentation, knowledge transfer, etc.) for supported applications (both Epic and non-Epic) and related technologies.
• Promotes a positive and collaborative work environment.
• Follows the application change management process, ensuring timely reporting of relevant change information, effective discussions regarding changes, internal and external communications, contingency planning, support during change events, and post-change reporting as necessary.
• High school diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
• An Associate's or Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, healthcare, business, or equivalent experience is required.
• A minimum of eight years of related experience is necessary.
• A valid Virginia driver's license is required.
• Vendor and/or industry certifications/proficiencies as determined by management are mandatory.
• Certification/Proficiency in the applicable Epic module is required.
• Additional Certifications/Proficiencies in modules related to the primary Epic module are necessary.
• Must be a self-motivated team player capable of working with minimal supervision, possessing strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team is essential.
• Must foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
• Must be able to mentor teammates to encourage skill development within the team.
• Flexibility and the ability to prioritize multiple projects while meeting deadlines are required.
• Strong communication skills (oral, written, and presentation) are necessary.
