This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Missouri.
• Configures, implements, supports, and maintains applications and technical integrations, with a focus on Epic applications, to fulfill the organization's requirements.
• Functions as a coordinator and collaborates with business operations, information technology, leadership, system users, and vendors.
• Gathers requirements and translates them into configuration and business process modifications, utilizing knowledge of standard workflows.
• Conducts routine maintenance and standard builds for Epic applications and systems following existing internal processes, policies, and procedures.
• Offers technical expertise by analyzing Epic vendor software updates and assessing their impact on the business for Epic applications.
• Troubleshoots and resolves basic to moderately complex application issues while providing end-user support for Epic applications.
• Develops complex functions, including constructing application tables and reports for Epic applications.
• Updates testing scripts to reflect ongoing system development and implementations.
• Serves as a resource for less experienced Epic colleagues and may lead small projects with manageable risk and resource requirements.
• Evaluates, prioritizes, and organizes technical requirement specifications using data, diagrams, and flowcharts to guide decision-making.
• Addresses complex issues, adopts new perspectives on existing solutions, and applies judgment based on the analysis of various information sources.
• Performs additional duties as assigned.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent years of experience and education.
• A minimum of three years of relevant experience.
• Experience with Epic builds.
• Epic certification in one or more modules (Resolute Hospital Billing (HB) Administration and Claims and Remittance is highly preferred).
