• Oversee advanced work supporting information technology applications through meticulous planning, design, implementation, maintenance, and continuous optimization and support.
• Document and suggest workflow modifications along with technical and functional designs necessary to meet business requirements.
• Collaborate with external vendors to facilitate integration and implementation of related third-party applications, including support and troubleshooting.
• Address both common and complex issues, incidents, and problems in accordance with established service levels and departmental standards.
• Act as Project Manager and fulfill PM responsibilities for mid-sized projects involving multiple teams.
• Conduct quality reviews of the work produced by the team.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues, internal and external stakeholders, and vendors.
• Adhere to documentation and change management protocols.
• Contribute to the creation of training and knowledge resources for peers, end-users, and other team members.
• Supervise the configuration of electronic and mechanical hardware along with software products to fulfill client specifications.
• Develop and comprehend business reporting requirements for end users.
• Engage in on-call duties and command center responsibilities as needed.
• Create and maintain comprehensive testing plans and scripts to validate system outputs and integrity.
• Attend and participate in team, project, and departmental meetings to enhance awareness and information flow.
• Collaborate with requestors to clarify problems, establish clear objectives for projects, and complete business case documentation.
• A Bachelor’s degree is mandatory in information technology, healthcare, business, or a related discipline.
• A minimum of four (4) years of professional experience, or actively pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree along with six years of experience in relevant areas.
• EpicCare Ambulatory Certification is essential, along with experience in supporting healthcare EHR systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications, including Excel (pivot tables), Visio, Project, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Understanding of system analysis and operating systems is required.
• Ability to assess needs and determine the most effective approach through documentation.
• Capability to read, analyze, and interpret industry publications, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
• Proficient in writing reports, correspondence, and processing documents.
• Competent in effectively presenting information and addressing inquiries or complaints from employees, managers, directors, senior leaders, and the public.
• Certification on one or more Epic applications will be required, along with maintaining that certification.
