This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.
• Assist with Energy Projects involving electric energy transmission, generation, and renewable sources.
• Contribute to infrastructure enhancement initiatives in both public and private sectors.
• Engage in federal project support.
• Prepare permit applications in accordance with Massachusetts Environmental Regulatory Programs.
• Involvement in wetland and wildlife field ecology is also included in this position.
• Bachelor’s degree in Ecology, Environmental Science, Biology, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience or a demonstrated equivalent combination of experience and education.
• Valid Driver’s License is required.
• Capable of passing AECOM’s Motor Vehicle Records review.
• U.S. Citizenship is mandatory.
• Experience with Environmental Permitting is essential.
• Prior experience with wetlands in Massachusetts is required.
• Strong writing skills and the capability to draft environmental permitting applications are necessary.
• Proficiency in GIS and strong computer skills are needed.
• Additional knowledge of other New England Environmental Regulatory Programs is preferred.
