Environmental Health and Safety Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Promote and ensure adherence to the policies, processes, and procedures of Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE).

• Execute the HSE Work Plan for the assigned service orders (ODS).

• Efficiently manage the resources defined for the operation of HSE for the ODS.

• Prepare and deliver daily, monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, and annual HSE management reports for the ODS.

• Administer, update, and monitor the documentation, formats, and procedures needed for the implementation and maintenance of the HSE Management System.

• Conduct regular inspections related to safety, occupational health, and the environment.

• Halt or restrict activities that do not meet minimum safety standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• University graduate, holding a degree in Engineering or a related field.

• Other university degrees are accepted as long as they meet the required specialization and licensing.

• Specialization in Occupational Health and Safety or Labor Risks, with a valid Occupational Safety and Health License (LSST).

• Willingness to travel.

• Training in height work coordination.

• Induction in the guidelines of the Integrated HSE Management System.

• Training in the HSE Training Matrix.

• Work experience in Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) matters at Ecopetrol.

• Specific experience in the role: minimum of 3 years.

• Professional experience in environmental management: minimum of 1 year.
