This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado.
• Oversee daily operations of field personnel to ensure timely and accurate completion of quality work products.
• Provide technical review and guidance for field data collection and sampling related to stormwater, waste, and wastewater.
• Manage scheduling and logistics for numerous monthly, quarterly, and annual compliance activities carried out by field teams.
• Analyze and comprehend environmental permits and reports associated with facilities and operations across various industries, including e-commerce, transportation, and warehousing.
• Possess a high level of technical expertise in NPDES stormwater (industrial and MS4), SPCC, and RCRA.
• Familiarity with relevant environmental programs, including but not limited to Stormwater, SPCC, Hazardous Waste, and minor source air permitting, recordkeeping, and reporting.
• Engage in client interaction and relationship-building through onsite and virtual meetings.
• Occasional overnight travel may be required, up to 20%.
• Effectively manage project deliverables, timelines, and budgets.
• Offer guidance to clients and field staff regarding environmental legislation and regulations and their implications for client operations.
• Define and cultivate your professional growth with mentorship from senior managers.
• Flexible work arrangements available: in-office, hybrid, or remote, with occasional office meetings.
• Bachelor’s degree in chemical, environmental, or civil engineering, geology, environmental science, or a related field.
• 5-10 years of relevant professional experience in consulting or industry.
• Ability to independently research, review, and ensure compliance with environmental regulations at the Federal, State, and Local levels, including SPCC, NPDES, and discharge permitting, as well as hazardous waste management.
• Knowledge and experience in preparing discharge monitoring reports, annual reports, NECs, and NOIs.
• Experience in water sampling for stormwater and industrial wastewater.
• Strong multitasking and problem-solving abilities while maintaining quality and managing time effectively.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative work ethic.
• Strong safety awareness and a good understanding of safe work practices.
• Proficient writing skills and adeptness with the Microsoft Office suite are mandatory.
