This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Deliver instructor-led seminars and on-site training sessions focused on environmental and safety regulations.
• Maintain and revise training resources, including presentations, manuals, and course content.
• Conduct audits and inspections to ensure environmental compliance.
• Assist with permitting processes and projects related to regulatory compliance.
• Support business development and the creation of new training offerings.
• Strive for high customer satisfaction and aim to surpass client expectations.
• Create computer-based training modules to address existing and new regulatory requirements.
• Develop tailored computer-based training materials for clients.
• Carry out assigned services for both internal and external clients within your area of expertise.
• Act as a resource for both external and internal customers.
• Follow up with class participants to foster new business opportunities and enhance training sessions.
• Build business relationships with clients and develop customer profiles that outline specific situations, strategies, and plans.
• Create value-added strategies for each customer.
• Suggest and develop new seminars and services based on client needs and market potential.
• Promote services and products, and create and maintain client target lists.
• Deliver both public and private seminars, either on-site or via webcast.
• Address student inquiries through phone, email, and chat.
• Stay updated on services, products, and developments in legal, technical, and regulatory fields.
• Investigate new regulations, services, and products.
• Assess services and products for efficacy.
• Coordinate and execute seminar activities related to new regulatory requirements, including the creation of new materials and presentation slides.
• Bachelor's degree in environmental science, geology, engineering, chemistry, or a related scientific field.
• Over 5 years of professional experience in the environmental sector.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in environmental compliance.
• Proven ability to deliver training to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Expertise in key Subject Matter Areas: RCRA hazardous waste regulations and DOT hazardous materials transportation regulations.
• Additional preferred expertise includes: IATA/IMO transportation regulations, Clean Water Act (CWA), Clean Air Act (CAA), OSHA General Industry, and HAZWOPER regulations.
