This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Compiling environmental compliance documentation, including annual air emissions inventory reports, hazardous waste generator reports, SARA 312 Tier II reports, Toxic Release Inventory (TRI) reports, air permit monitoring summaries, and related reports.

• Developing environmental management plans such as Spill Prevention, Control, and Countermeasure (SPCC) Plans, Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plans (SWP3s), and Slug Discharge Control Plans.

• Completing environmental permit applications for industrial wastewater and stormwater discharges, as well as air emissions sources.

• Executing Phase I Environmental Site Assessments following ASTM International’s E1527-21 Standard, which includes conducting site visits, ordering, receiving, and analyzing database reports, and composing Phase I ESA Reports (preferred); and,

• Assisting in the creation of technical documents, letters, memoranda, specifications, and proposals.


⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in environmental, civil, or chemical engineering, environmental science, geology, or a related discipline (required)

• An advanced degree (M.S.) in a relevant field (preferred)

• Engineer in Training (E.I.T.), Certified Hazardous Materials Manager (CHMM), or similar professional certification in your specialization (preferred)

• A minimum of 7 years of pertinent experience or a comparable combination of education and experience (required)

• Strong writing and communication abilities (required)

• Capability to thrive in a dynamic consulting environment, managing multiple project assignments, meeting deadlines, and traveling to facilities as necessary (required)

• Experience and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (required)

• A valid U.S. driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record for business travel (required)

• 40-hour HAZWOPER certification (preferred)

• Previous experience in environmental consulting (preferred)
