This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Assist in audit sprints by carrying out prioritized testing tasks for straightforward audit areas, while overseeing the scope, timing, and deliverables.
• Engage in walkthroughs, Canvas or Story Map discussions, and control identification exercises to enhance understanding of process design, underlying systems, risks, and key controls.
• Record controls, testing steps, process flows, and audit observations utilizing standard templates and digital audit management tools.
• Conduct control testing by adhering to established procedures and meticulously documenting results to ensure completeness, accuracy, and sufficient support.
• Request, organize, and maintain audit evidence and workpapers in a thorough and systematic manner.
• Execute basic data analysis using approved tools such as Excel, Power BI, or other analytics software, applying data-driven insights to inform audit conclusions.
• Utilize approved AI or LLM tools to assist with straightforward audit tasks such as summarization or documentation drafting, leveraging these technologies to enhance efficiency while validating outputs with team members.
• Communicate updates, inquiries, and obstacles during stand-ups and other team routines, escalating issues when necessary.
• Participate in ongoing risk assessments by monitoring changes in processes, technology systems, or audit evidence and raising observations to the team.
• Develop foundational knowledge of Allstate's business processes, technology landscape, and control framework through audit work, team feedback, and agile learning routines.
• Contribute to discovering opportunities for automating or improving audit procedures using data analytics and other technological solutions, showcasing an innovative approach to enhancing audit effectiveness.
• Basic understanding of AI, machine learning, generative AI, and emerging technologies.
• Familiarity with data analytics concepts and tools like Python, SQL, Power BI, or Excel.
• Interest in utilizing AI (e.g., Microsoft 365 Copilot) and data analytics to improve audit testing, risk identification, and control evaluations.
• Awareness of AI governance, model risk management, data privacy, and responsible AI principles.
• Strong analytical mindset capable of evaluating data, identifying risks, and drawing significant conclusions.
• Proficient verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly present complex concepts to stakeholders.
